Izzy Bizu named BBC Introducing's Artist Of The Year

Following in the footsteps of Catfish & The Bottlemen and Jack Garratt, singer-songwriter Izzy Bizu has been named as BBC Introducing's Artist Of The Year for 2016.

The accolade comes after an incredible year for the artist, whose debut album 'A Moment Of Madness' arrived in early September, having already reached huge acclaim for her hit single 'White Tiger' and her contribution to the official Euro 2016 song, a cover of Edith Piaf’s ‘La Foule.’

Jason Carter, head of BBC Introducing, said that ”Izzy is a huge talent that I’m certain will be a huge success story both at home and abroad. I’m proud of the part BBC Introducing has played in launching her career and look forward to supporting her in the years to come.”
