With her highly-anticipated debut album now just a day away, Arlo Parks has now unveiled the final cut before the release of her new full-length.
The new single 'Hope' is accompanied by a brilliant new video, directed by Molly Burdett, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Caroline', 'Green Eyes', 'Hurt', 'Black Dog' and 'Eugene' in previewing her first LP 'Collapsed In Sunbeams', which is out on the 29th January via Transgressive Records.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “The song surrounds isolation, being present in your pain and knowing that you’re not the only one on the planet feeling low. I think especially in times like these it’s important to focus on the inevitability that things will get better.”
While adding about the video, “This video to me is a warm, vibrant exploration of friendship and introversion. I think there’s something so powerful about the saturated, filmic textures, the human portraits and depictions of euphoria.”
