Despite only having a couple of tracks to their name so far, Leeds-based outfit Modern Pleasure have certainly been receiving a lot of buzz over the last few months.
After their debut single 'Messina' dropped last month, the band have been riding a wave of hype thanks to its laid-back summer vibes and enjoyable vocal harmonies. Their follow-up 'White Heels' sees them take on a Flaming Lips-meets-Coldplay feel, as the band's pop-sensibilites begin to mix with a more atmospheric and alternative sound.
While still only in their early days, the band have already enjoyed airtime on Radio 1 as well as a headline show at London's The Pickle Factory earlier this month. So no doubt, we'll be seeing a lot more of them in the year ahead.
