While artists that launch their career's through televised singing competition is nothing rare, The Voice isn't particularly known for making stars of its contestants. But since Becky Hill first appeared on the show back in 2012, she has fallen in with some of the best new producers on the scene today and looks like she has set herself up to become one of the best new talents working in the UK.
Since appearing on The Voice, Hill managed to land a guest spot on Rudimental's debut album 'Home', contributing vocals to their eventual single 'Powerless'. She then went on to co-write and perform with Wilkinson on his drum n bass anthem 'Afterglow', and most recently provided her voice to the vocal edit of Oliver Helden's 'Gecko', landing her her first number one single.
But now it seems that Becky Hill is once again looking for a solo route to stardom with the release of her latest single 'Losing'. Following the already unveiled 'Caution To The Wind', 'Losing' has this dynamic and likeable approach to pop music, which is gathering momentum and endorsements from critics and fans alike. She has a clear knack for creating stunningly catchy tunes and is gunning to be one of the most in-demand acts of the months to come.
It still may be early days for this 20-year-old songstress but with so much experience behind her already, we have no doubt that the next year to come will be the one that finally gives her the platform she deserves.
