Having already cemented themselves with a breadth of dazzling delights these last few years, Scottish outfit Vida are back once again to deliver their woozy new single 'Tune Out Of You'.
Bringing back ore of that warm and lofty indie-rock aesthetic they have been budding for themselves, 'Tune Out Of You' makes for a riveting return to form throughout. With its bright and uplifting textures, breezy atmosphere, and compelling vocals at the helm, they are returning to the fold with one of their most enjoyable efforts to date here.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with them to find out more about their origins and what has been inspiring them most lately.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
Growing up watching family members play guitar and really wanting to join in! Guitars usually always the first instrument to be picked up.
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
All the bangers!! The radio used to be class, tune after tune. Away out on road trips we would listen to Paul Simon, The Beatles, The Jayhawks and The Waterboys.
What was the first album you remember owning?
Most of my albums we had as a youth were pass downs, however the first Album I remember playing constantly was cheeky for a reason by The View. I had just passed my driving test and played it all the time driving around with our mates.
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
Hey Jude - The Beatles. The ultimate sing along song. Sang all over the world, a household song filled with love and hope. Paul McCartney at his best.
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
Lying in bed trying to sleep, at that stage when youre not quite asleep however your body has switched off. I tend to think of lyrics for songs, or an idea for a song. Then a coffee in the morning to stimulate the brain. Hopefully all the ideas poor out. Failing that a bottle off Buckie and meet the lads down the studio. We normally come away with something.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
Shambolics, the deenys, brogeal, fontaines DC, Yard Act, Andrew Cushion, The Reytons... List could go on.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
Oasis reunion show 2026, Wembley stadium.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
Seeing the faces of happy punters, making music with yer neeburs. Travelling, meeting fellow minded people, telling stories and listening to advice. Being creative and expressing feelings through lyrics.
And what is the most frustrating part?
Having to check out hotels at 10 when you just got back to the hotel at 5!
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
Believe and Achieve, Stay true to yourself and your lyrics. Practice quality over quantity.
