Following on from his highly-praised debut single 'GENERALS THEME' earlier this year, emerging rapper X Revolution is back on the grind once again to deliver his pulsing new offering 'DICTATORS PRAYER'.
Bringing back more of that dark and progressive aesthetic he is quickly earning a reputation for, 'DICTATORS PRAYER' makes for a stellar return for him. With its pulsing production elevating his killer flow throughout, he is certainly one to keep a firm eye on for the months ahead as well.
So with the new single available to stream now, we sat down with him to find out more about his background and what has been inspiring him most over the years.

What was the first instrument you fell in love with?
Would have to be a synthesiser, one of the very first memorable songs I enjoyed listening to was very synthesiser based.
What kind of music did you love when you were younger?
Definitely a lot of electronic music, it made me feel things which are unexplainable itself. It's one of those moments people call "You have to experience it to understand".
What was the first album you remember owning?
Curtain Call by Eminem.
What is the one song you wished you could have written yourself?
It's a really tough question. That changes so much - I'd have to land on my favourite Chase & Status song which is "International".
Do you have any habits or rituals you go through when trying to write new music?
Yea I actually do. I am a very analytical personality which needs to construct/deconstruct everything into frameworks. How this plays out is; I will dive really deep into a topic or conspiracy theory I am into. I go down various rabbit holes until I find enough information to create a bit of a world from. So from the thinking stages, it goes into what external possibilities can I find when producing/constructing the song (including lyrics). It has got to all make complete sense to me so I can simplify it, which we all know simplicity speaks to everyone.
Who are your favourite artists you have found yourself listening to at the moment?
Architects and House Of Protection.
If you could open a show for anyone in the world, who would it be?
Run The Jewels.
What do you find is the most rewarding part about being a musician?
When you finish a song, sit back and listen to it, it makes you appreciate the process of creation.
And what is the most frustrating part?
Starting somewhere when constructing a song. Just start on anything, whatever happens will happen.
And what is the best piece of advice you have received as a musician?
If it sounds good, then it's good. Keep on going.
