The Horrors deliver new single 'More Than Life'

The Horrors continue to build anticipation for their forthcoming album 'Night Life' with the release of their latest single 'More Than Life'—the fourth track unveiled from their next project. Following a triumphant string of sold-out UK shows to close out 2024, including a standout performance at London’s iconic ICA, the band delivers a driving and direct anthem that captures a new facet of their evolving sound.

“More Than Life has a different type of intensity compared to our recent singles—it’s more driving and direct,” the band shares. Written amidst the stark urban landscape of Canary Wharf, the track channels the eerie modernity of its surroundings. “It’s such a strange place to do anything creative,” they explain. “The setting felt particularly cold and stark, which made its way into the tone of the song.”

The single emerged during the final stages of songwriting for 'Night Life', as the band prepared for recording sessions at Yves’ Los Angeles studio. “We were in that insular part of the process where it feels like the outside world doesn’t exist,” the band reflects. “The song is essentially about the question of what truly matters to you, and by that point, we were definitely clear on where we were heading.”

'Night Life' is set for release on the 21st March via Fiction Records, promising a bold new chapter for The Horrors as they continue to redefine their artistic vision. Watch the new video for 'More Than Life' in the player below
