With her eagerly-awaited new album dropping at the end of the week, Maple Glider has now unveiled the final cut to be lifted from her forthcoming full-length.
The new single 'Do You' comes accompanied by a stunning new video, directed by Bridgette Winten, and follows on from the previously shared tracks 'Dinah', 'Two Years', 'Don't Kiss Me', 'You At The Top Of The Driveway', and 'You're Gonna Be A Daddy' in previewing her sophomore LP 'I Get Into Trouble', which is out this Friday 13th October via Partisan.
Speaking about the new offering, she said, “For me this song holds the feeling of being frustrated by someone who refuses to see who you are, no matter how much you put yourself in front of them, until eventually, you retreat. It’s also about the self-obsession that can come as a result of that, the fixation on identity, complicated feelings of inadequacy, and the search for meaning and significance in failing relationships. As always, there are many sides to the sphere, the ball just keeps spinning.”
