Ever since breaking through with their highly-praised 2020 debut LP 'Orlando', London's Seafarers have always looked to build a more euphoric and emotive direction than many of their peers. Combining this beautifully lofty appeal with some wonderfully transcendent aesthetics with everything they do, their tenure to date has been one of the more impactful we have heard on the underground scene. And after a continued run of appreciation for their recent singles, they are back once again with their third studio album 'Another State', a record that looks to broaden their immersive sound once again.
Much like what their initial previews suggested, 'Another State' looks to present itself as one of their more captivating efforts yet. With its opening number 'Bedwetters' setting the standard for this new offering, Seafarers find themselves in a remarkably ambitious pursuit to deliver a truly heartfelt and welcoming listen. Exploring a broad and more diverse style than what their previous LPs intended, this new collection unveils some of their most passionate material to date, cultivating something truly alluring as it plays.
While there has already been plenty of acclaim under their belt recently, 'Another State' shows that their recent buzz is more than well deserved. Capturing a brilliantly serene and emotionally-charged array of offerings here, Seafarers remain one of the more exceptional names spurning from the capital right now.
