The Sherlocks return with new single 'Death Of Me'

Following on from their highly-praised studio album 'People Like Me & You' last year, The Sherlocks have now returned to share a brand new single.

The new track 'Death Of Me' marks their first piece of new material so far this year, and was produced by David Radahd-Jones.

Speaking about the new offering, vocalist/guitarist Kiaran Crook said, “This feels like the freshest thing we’ve done in a while in the sense that we know we can write and record rock ‘n’ roll tunes no problem, and don’t get me wrong we love doing that! But this song came about and immediately felt different, almost like it wasn’t crying out for guitars quite as much. We gave the song a minimalistic approach in many ways and I think it ended up sounding like nothing we’ve done before because of that.”

While drummer Brandon Crook added, “This song is a pure sing-a-long anthem, made for the big outdoor gigs and festivals. We feel like we've taken another huge leap forward sonically. The whole tune feels youthful and uplifting. Can't wait to play this one live for everyone!”
