Thurston Moore announces new album 'Rock n Roll Consciousness'

Following on from a flurry of single and small releases over the last couple of years, Thurston Moore has now announced his plans for a new studio album, arriving next month.

The new five-track full-length 'Rock n Roll Consciousness' is his first since 2014's 'The Best Day', and was recorded with his new band consisting of My Bloody Valentine's Deb Googe, James Sedwards of Chrome Hoof, and fellow Sonic Youth alumni Steve Shelley, with Paul Epworth producing.

'Rock n Roll Consciousness' is due out on the 28th April via Harvest Records/Caroline International, and you can check out the video for lead single 'Smoke Of Dreams' in the player, along with the album's tracklisting and artwork below.
