Following on from the release of their much-loved EP 'The Beautiful Nothing' earlier this year, Vistas return once again to offer up a brand new single.
The new track 'Last Together' continues their pursuit of broad and expansive indie-pop aesthetics as they ready for themselves for a string of live shows later this summer.
Speaking about the new offering, frontman Prentice Robertson said, "I wanted 'Last Together' to feel like an anthem for those of us who fade into the background. Increasingly, I've felt this in myself in social situations and I wanted to try and articulate this in a song. I like the contrast of the song sounding big, heavy and in your face while the subject matter is about not being noticed. In myself, I know that when I feel outcast as a result of a situation I'm in, I so much want to be bold and break through that barrier but there is this emergency stop that shuts down what I've carefully articulated in my head and I think that the disparity between the music and lyrics sums up that feeling."
