Irish indie rock outfit Public Warning unveil their debut EP 'Over/Under',
Produced by Keelan O'Reilly, known for his work with acts like Post-Party and Still Blue, the collection carefully balances mainstream appeal with indie authenticity. The EP features a distinctive sonic palette combining sharp guitar work, rich synthesizer elements, powerful percussion, and precise bass lines to create a sound that feels contemporary yet accessible.
'Promises' stands out as the EP's highlight, delivering a powerful, punk-influenced track that showcases the band's energetic performance style, adding a heavier dimension to the otherwise indie-focused release.
Speaking about the EP's central themes, frontman Adam explained that 'Over/Under' explores the transitional phases of life: "With Over/Under, we wanted to capture that in-between space—where you're not who you were, but you're not quite who you're becoming yet. It's about growing up, learning from mistakes, and figuring out what really matters in relationships and in life."
